Jerry has more than 30 years of experience as a registered patent agent licensed to practice patent law before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Jerry directed patent prosecution at Sony Corporation, managing a department that processed nearly 1000 invention disclosures per year. Jerry also prosecuted patents at Motorola Inc., and he authored a corporate patent handbook in use by a major international Fortune 100 corporation. Jerry has five U.S. patents and several foreign patents. He has patent prosecution and engineering experience in the areas of telecommunications and analog/digital circuits. Other areas of patent prosecution experience include mechanical devices and systems, software, encryption/decryption systems and control systems.
Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with honors and a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering with honors from North Carolina State University.
